We think of NASCAR and the Daytona 500 when it comes to cars, but Daytona was not the first place to attract speed buffs that honor belongs to its Northern neighbor, Ormond Beach. Ormond is called the birthplace of speed because it was the site of the first sanctioned speed trial.

To find the Riverfest from the mainland, just proceed east over the Granada bridge in downtown Ormond Beach. If you are coming from A1A, just turn on Granada and the festival will be easy to spot right before the bridge.

Andy Romano Beachfront Park is a 4 acre park located along the beach. The park offers beach access, off-beach parking, a splash pad, playground, pavilions, concessions, and restrooms.
